U.S. educational standards have increased with the common core curriculum, there are fewer trade jobs, and there is more competition to achieve a four-year college degree.  Harvard University researchers have concluded that dyslexia is the most under-diagnosed ailment of childhood.

Undiscovered dyslexia has massive costs to society. It keeps many talented individuals from achieving their true potential.  From low ACT scores that can keep a student from going to college or being able to finish a college degree, to even our prisons. 80% of prison inmates read below a fifth-grade level, and 48% of prison inmates can be identified as dyslexic.
