Aspire Academy’s mission is to deliver the highest-quality learning experience for children who struggle with reading, writing and spelling whether that be in-person or online. Every online session we deliver is one-on-one, direct instruction, delivered live, between tutor and student. We personalize every lesson to their specific needs with the aim of getting them to grade-level reading as fast as possible. We use diagnostic testing and student learning progress to determine their needs and progression.
Aspire Academy provides online Orton-Gillingham tutoring using the Wilson method. All of our tutors are trained to deliver the program with fidelity. Our students make exceptional reading and spelling growth because our lessons are personalized to them, and our tutors build trusting relationships. Aspire Academy strives to deliver the best, direct instruction whether it occurs online or in-person. Tutors build robust academic and social-emotional relationships with each of their students, as they tackle their reading challenges.

These need to optimize both academic coverage and social interaction A baseline would be two-or-three 30-45 minute sessions on each core academic subject each week. Aspire Academy initially moved to online learning in March 2020 due to the COVID pandemic, but we have stuck with online tutoring because it WORKS and we’ve been able to reach and change the lives of students that are thousands of miles away from us.
Students repeatedly told us they prefer their online sessions and that they enjoyed their online tutoring sessions better than their public-school sessions because they were directly instructed in a 1-on-1 fashion and they could continue to develop their personal relationship with their tutor. They looked forward to their sessions because they were able to engage with a teacher who had a vested relationship in their learning, they were grasping their custom instruction material better and they could have open and honest discussions about learning and what was happening in their lives.

Learning occurs best when it is customized to each child.
Our program has components for the five building blocks of reading: phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, reading comprehension and fluency. We will screen your child to measure the type of help they need, and we customize every lesson to those needs.
Our staff holds monthly training to stay up-to-date on the latest in reading science.
We tutor from 7 AM – 7 PM, Monday – Friday (CDT/CST).
